Our Story
It all started with a pandemic...
Let me tell you the story of how a few lockdowns and some boredom led to the birth of our very own brewery. It all started when the pandemic hit and our city of Auckland was put into lockdown. Suddenly, we found ourselves with an abundance of time and not much to do. To pass the time, we turned to home brewing kits, and boy oh boy, were we pleasantly surprised. Our creations were nothing short of fantastic (and I promise I am not biased).
But then, one fateful New Year's Eve, after one too many drinks, we had an idea. What if we turned our love of brewing into a real, live brewery? It sounded easy enough in the moment, and a few days later, we started the paperwork to make it happen. Little did we know, starting a brewery is no walk in the park. It took months of challenges and setbacks, but we never gave up.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we were granted our manufacturing license. Our dream was becoming a reality. Of course, starting a brewery isn't just about brewing beer. We had to ensure we had all the necessary equipment and resources to produce high-quality beer consistently. This included everything from fermentation tanks to kegs and bottling equipment. And let's not forget about establishing relationships with suppliers to get the raw materials we needed. Marketing and branding were also crucial. We knew we needed to create a unique identity for our brewery that would set us apart from the competition. We had to come up with catchy beer names, design eye-catching labels, and develop a solid marketing strategy to get our brews into the hands of thirsty customers.
But the hard work paid off. Today, our brewery is thriving, and we are proud to be creating some of the best beer in town. So, if you ever find yourself in Auckland, be sure to swing by our brewery and try one of our mighty fine drops.
